Oklahoma Academic Standards

Union Public Schools bases instructional objectives for all subject matter curriculum on the Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS) as established by the State Board of Education, which are thoroughly reviewed by the State Board every six years according to and in coordination with the existing subject area textbook adoption cycle.

Oklahoma Academic Standards serve as expectations for what students should know and be able to do by the end of the school year and are written by Oklahomans for Oklahoma.
