Andersen Elementary Parent Teacher Association supports the mission of the national PTA and dedicates its organization to improving the education and well-being of students.

Andersen offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students. Assemblies throughout the year also help to engage students and attract their interest.

Enrichment Learning

Andersen  offers students a number of learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom experience to enrich educational experiences.

Our Mission

Andersen endeavors to develop responsible, empowered problem solvers instilled with a life-long desire for learning through student-centered teaching and working partnerships with home and community.

Before & After School

Children participating in the EDP program are provided the opportunity for activities and quiet time. Afternoon sessions include a snack and a short period of free time before a study hall and other structured activities. The Union Extended Day Program is an extension of the school day and has priority for use of the indoor and outdoor facilities from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Union gives Special Olympians an early morning send-off at the UHS Freshman Academy.

Seventy-one of Union's Special Olympic Athletes were given a proper send-off this morning with help from the Broken Arrow Fire Department and Tulsa Police Department as they head to Stillwater to compete for two days in the statewide competition.

Union Public Schools Board of Education: Steve Nguyen - Zone 5; Dr. Chris McNeil - Zone 2; Heather McAdams - Zone 3; Stacey Roemerman - Zone 4 ; Joey Reyes - Zone 1; and Superintendent Dr. John Federline.

A brief summary of the May 12 Board of Education meeting has been posted which includes information on Early Release Fridays and various capital improvement projects.

Because of the weather forecast, Union High School has made the decision to move Commencement indoors to the UMAC, 6836 S. Mingo, and have TWO ceremoniesat 2 p.m. for last names ending A-K, and at 6 p.m. for last names ending L-Z.

Early Childhood

Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.

STEM

Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
